Shanghai Robot Industry Association (SRIA) is a voluntary and non-profit industrial social organization which is initiated by DonghaoLansheng (Group) Co, Ltd, Shanghai Electric Group Co, Ltd, Shanghai Industrial Parkof Robotics, ABB Engineering (Shanghai) Ltd, Shanghai Fanuc robotics Co, Ltd. KUKA Robotics China Co., Ltd and Shanghai SIASUN Robot Automation Co, Ltd.
In September 2013, SRIA receives the "Approval for the Establishment of the Shanghai Robot Industry Association" by the competent authority Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization. On October 30th, SRIA received the "Decision Letter for Approval of Preparation of Social Organizations" by Shanghai Administration Bureau of NGOs. The first member meeting was held on November 5th, 2013. SRIA was officially inaugurated on November 6th, 2013. SRIA was established and registered in January, 2014.
With the aim of "setting up platform, serving members, enhancing cooperation and promoting development", Shanghai Robot Industry Association devotes to promoting the cooperation between upstream and downstream robot industry, accelerating the popularization and application of robotics technology and products in all walks of life, and proposing constructive suggestions on promoting robot industry development to the government, thus providing a basis for the government to formulate relevant industrial policies. It also strives for funds for government projects, expresses the wishes and requirements of its members, provides support for the development of its members, and builds a multi-win brand industry comprehensive service platform that integrates government, industry, university, research and investment together.
